Knitting...yes it's true!

I have completed a pink stripe for my 'taking forever' afghan. I really have to put this aside for a while as we have another yarn bomb planned This is going to be a crazy blanket when it's finished.

So....I went into town and the nice ladies at my LYS have been living it up at the NEC this weekend where there was a yarn show - GASP!!! SEQUEL!!!

They have brought back a few skeins of this stuff: Tango by woolcraft. It's got a line of holes at the top that you use as a normal yarn and then a lovely dangle ruffle comes down from it. They had a scarf made up and it sold the yarn to me. The other thing that made it irresistible was the colour combo of green and purple; the colours of the Breastfeeding Network. I bought myself some bamboo needles and set to work. This has been the first bit of knitting I have done for a while but with only 8 stitches a row I think I can cope.
